**THE 2026 PARADE HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER**
The Elberta group Order of Raskalz was formed in 2024. “There were no other krewes in our area that were family-friendly, meaning kids were not able to participate in the parades,” Raskalz leadership said. “Our focus is families parade together. This gives families an opportunity to get kids engaged and build their love for Mardi Gras to carry on for generations to come!” Membership is open to all ages. Previously, the town hosted its own parade; in 2025, elected officials asked the Order of Raskalz to take it over.
The Raskalz’s first headlining parade is in 2026. Expect two floats from the Raskalz, along with more floats from other nearby krewes, local youth groups like dance academies, Scouts and marching bands.
